Background and Passion
Laurent Maillart combines a robust background in mechanical engineering with a profound passion for cars and arts.
From a young age, Laurent spent most of his time drawing cartoons and designing show programs and T-shirts for sports teams. His artistic inclinations continued throughout his academic journey, including during his Master in Engineering and MBA programs.
During his career in management consulting, Laurent began painting with oil on large canvases and participated to various exhibitions. His artistic pursuits didn’t stop there; he also developed a love for sculpture and 3D Design.
His work, ideally situated between the automotive and artistic worlds, can be seen in prestigious car brands’ show rooms, with whom he had the honor of building a partnership, as well as in contemporary art galleries.

Sculptural Art and 3D Design
Laurent finds sculpture intriguing as it offers different perspectives and impressions depending on lighting and spatial positioning. The tangible nature of sculptures, which can be held and possessed like beautiful toys, appealed to him. Inspired by notable figures such as automotive sculptor Emmanuel Zurini and designers Michael Mauer and Giotto Bizzarrini, Laurent began learning 3D design.
His goal remains to create elegant, aerodynamic, and unique artworks.
